History of the Underground Railroad at Shelby County Public Library

Alicestyne Turley, a commissioner for the Kentucky African American Commission and from the Kentucky Humanities Speaker Bureau, will provide a review of the Underground Railroad as the product of the work of black and white southerners committed to an evangelical cause of freedom. This program is funded in part by the Kentucky Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
