“Antiquing is all about the journey, the hunt, the thrill of finding the objects of your desire,” said Lisa Porter. Porter and David Levine produce this market as well as the Fleur-de-flea Vintage Urban Market that takes place three times a year on Louisville’s waterfront.

Adding to the festival atmosphere will be live bluegrass music all weekend, plus petting zoo, family-friendly activities, including a large free pumpkin patch for kids, craft beer and local wine, a variety of local food trucks, and fall decorations, including pumpkins, mums and gourds.

Sponsored by award-winning Country Boy Brewing, Mingua Brothers Beef Jerky, Ramada Inn and Shelby County Tourism, the Highfalutin Vintage & Antique Market is a showcase for antique and vintage goods of all variety; coveted collectibles; repurposed, recycled and reclaimed items; tools and other garage treasures; funky junk; and handmade goodies.

Admission: $5/carload. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity in Shelbyville, The Mercy Clinic.
