Ooey, gooey, warm and chewy – a mouthwatering mélange of bread soaked in milk with butter, raisins and other goodies and topped with a sauce that is soused; that is to say, sauce that has been sweetened with sugar and zipped up with a couple/few fingers of fine Kentucky bourbon.

From horseback riding and kayaking to wildlife viewing and hunting down the perfect deal, there are any number of outdoor (and indoor) escapades in Shelbyville and Simpsonville, KY.

The design of the Presidential Mint Julep Cups is based on a pattern created by a 19th century Shelbyville silversmith that featured beaded top and bottom borders. Signature markings include an eagle cartouche combined with the initials of the current U.S. president on the bottom of the cup.


Although you may not think so, it is possible to have a fun-filled, stress-free weekend of wedding planning, especially when shared with your girlfriends.
