Shelbyville, KY (Oct. 20, 2025) — ShelbyKY Tourism is pleased to announce the promotion of Taylor Draper to General Manager of the Shelbyville Conference Center. Draper, who joined the ShelbyKY Tourism team in April 2024, now oversees all sales, operations, and client experience for the Conference Center. She reports directly to Janette Marson, President & CEO of ShelbyKY Tourism, which operates the venue on behalf of the City of Shelbyville.
Under Draper’s leadership as Sales Manager, the Shelbyville Conference Center has seen a dramatic uptick in bookings and event inquiries, reflecting her exceptional relationship-building skills and commitment to guest service. Her efforts have expanded the venue’s reach among corporate clients, community organizations, and regional event planners, helping establish the facility as a premier meeting and event destination in central Kentucky.
“Taylor’s dedication, professionalism, and results-driven approach have made a tremendous impact,” said Marson. “She has elevated the Shelbyville Conference Center’s reputation and continues to bring new energy and ideas to every aspect of our operations. The Shelbyville Conference Center, located at 219 7th Street, is a modern, full-service facility featuring flexible meeting and banquet spaces for up to 400 guests. Operated by ShelbyKY Tourism, the Center serves as a hub for conferences, weddings, community celebrations, and regional events.
