With its central location between Louisville, Lexington, and Cincinnati, Your Bourbon Destination is within a day’s drive of more than half of the US population and there are direct flights from every major United States airport, as well as two direct flights from both London and Paris to Kentucky. 

Getting here

Shelbyville and Simpsonville are a leisurely 30 minute drive from Louisville, 45 minutes from Lexington, and 90 minutes from Cincinnati. We recommend you take the scenic routes but for convenience, there are four exits in ShelbyKY off interstate 64 and interstates 65, 71, and 75 are just next door. 

The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF), Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), and Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport (LEX) offer daily flights to major airports across the United States. Travelers coming from Europe to Kentucky will enjoy round-trip airfare from London and Paris each week at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Getting around

Shelbyville’s historic Main Street district is incredibly walkable. With unique accommodations, boutiques, restaurants, and more within a few short blocks.

Rideshare services, like Uber and Lyft, are not always available in rural areas, so be sure to plan ahead and schedule your ride in the app.
