From 10 AM to 5 PM at the Shelby County Public Schools Central Office on 1155 W. Main Street, the festival features more than 130 local crafters, artisans, and musicians. Joined by local food trucks and food vendors, the entire family will enjoy the Dogwood Festival.

Revived by the Shelby County Education Foundation, the festival is more than just a day of enjoyment; it’s a cause that supports the community's future. The event raises funds for scholarships for Shelby County students, making your participation a contribution to the education and empowerment of local youth.

Simultaneously, from 10 AM to 4 PM, at the Shelby County Fairgrounds, located at 1513 Midland Trail, the Dogwood Artisan Showcase will open its doors to art enthusiasts and casual observers alike. This showcase is a testament to Shelby County's rich artistic heritage and educational values, highlighting the incredible talents of local artists, artisans, and creators.

Attendees can look forward to exploring a myriad of booths featuring handmade crafts, artworks, and unique Kentucky boutiques. It’s a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship that emphasizes the importance of arts and education in the community. Shelbyville Horse ShowShelby County Dogwood Classic Horse Show

April 18 & 19 at 6 PM and April 20 at 9 AM and 6 PM | Shelby County Fairgrounds

Rounding out the trio of events, the Shelby County Dogwood Classic Horse Show takes place on April 18th, 19th, and 20th, with its main attractions happening on Saturday. Returning for its 3rd year, this prestigious event features more than 100 divisions of American Saddlebred horses, showcasing the skill, grace, and beauty of these magnificent animals.

Held in the American Saddlebred Horse Capital of the World, the horse show is a nod to the region’s deep-rooted equestrian heritage. Spectators can expect thrilling competitions, elegant displays, and a celebration of the horse in all its glory.
