Jeptha Creed Distillery
Jeptha Creed Distillery — the first distillery in Shelby County since prohibition ended — is run by a dynamic mother-daughter duo, Joyce and Autumn Nethery and family. The Jeptha Creed family farm grows and processes the bloody butcher corn used in all of the bourbon, moonshine, and vodkas. Jeptha Creed Distillery is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour®, a collection of smaller distilleries that embrace the true Kentucky distilling heritage.
Bulleit Distillery
The newest of Shelby County’s two distilleries, Bulleit Distillery, is committed to sustainability and recently planted more than 1-million trees to offset the wood used in their barrels. As part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®, Bulleit Distillery embraces the frontier spirit with its high-rye bourbons and state-of-the-art, high-tech facilities and distillation techniques. The multi-sensory tour embraces the sights, scents, sounds, and tastes of Bulleit’s Frontier Whiskey Bourbon.
